- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I opened my first US bank account as a Canadian with no ties to the US, and the personnel at the branch seemed quite apt at handling this. This branch: good opening hours, drive-thru, counter service is fast and friendly. NBT in general: good number of ATMs in upstate NY and VT, the free banking plan comes with everything I need.
